Welcome to Depression To expression meditation Monday I apologize for those who were on at 8 o’clock technical issues, and there’s still technical issues with younow linking to my YouTube account We’ll get it all sorted in the coming weeks, so Let’s get started with our meditation first thing in the morning First of all I slept like an idiot, so I’m just gonna stretch out my neck you can feel free to do so and do some twirlees That’s good a little looser Just rotate your neck to the left and to the right Hi, Diana hi Beth, we’re just doing some stretching Okay, let’s do our shoulders, let’s roll our shoulders back We hold tension in our neck Just roll them Hi Alea Just roll them back, that’s it And you can be in a seated position You can actually be lying down for this If you’re lying down, I’d recommend getting out of bed though so you don’t fall back to asleep hi Anna Okay, so make sure you’re comfortable if you’re sitting down your back straight Okay, pretend like you’re in a third grade School class picture, you know how you need to perfect posture hands on your lap legs not crossed knees together Okay position the mic here Okay So let’s just take some deep breaths together this will be about a 10-minute meditation, so let’s inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth together inhale And exhale And inhale And exhale The next one we’re just going to sigh on the exhale inhale And exhale Let’s close our eyes together And let’s begin Just coming to our bodies Noticing The word notice means that you’re not judging You’re not really working To focus on your body you’re just noticing and what you feel you feel what you don’t feel you don’t feel It’s a very non aggressive way to feel so you’re gonna notice Notice how your neck feels Notice your shoulders feel How do your arms feel your hands About your chest abdomen Scan down the body what about legs Focus on the weight of your body in that chair what about your feet Ankles your toes Where’s most of the sensation for you Where in your body do you really feel something Sit in that weight of the chair The lungs how they expand with each breath Is there feeling in your eyes are they tired or do they really just want to open up Notice where you feel sensation Now when your mind Becomes unfocused, and you think of maybe what you have to do today something that happened yesterday Just bring your attention back to the sensation of your body Bring your attention back to that strongest area of your body where you can feel Try not to become Angry or impatient Practice kindness to yourself if you lost attention You can say to yourself, okay, I began thinking That’s okay I’ll bring myself back to the body and do it again And while you have that focus and feel of your body in space What’s happening around you are there any sounds is there movement Listen around the room But don’t search for sound let the sound come to you You’ll find that there’s even sound in silence And let that bring you even deeper into the meditation Let that bring you deeper into your physical body There is sound in silence There is sensation in your body Now let’s repeat something together Every day In every way I get better and better And say that out loud or in your mind, let’s do that together Every day In every way I get better and better Every day In every way I get better and better every day In every way I get better and better Every day In every way I get better And better Now when we open our eyes, let’s look around the room And notice, what’s around you? Don’t label things think about things just take everything as it is So let’s open our eyes That was almost right on a 10 minute meditation Thank you everyone for joining. This will be uploaded to YouTube as well if you ever want to do this again before next Monday Thank you for joining Peace be with everyone and have an awesome week have an awesome Monday. Hey Scott, its not like your gonna see this comment but I'll go for it. I am depressed from anxiety. I think of the worst possible outcome (e.g my Dad goes to work at night. He could get kidnapped or his chest infection my get the better of him and dies on the way.)I just want it to stop. I want to enjoy the rest of my childhood. ( I am 12 ) i have been this for as long as i can think of and now it has come at this age. What also gets me depressed is death. Whats the point if everyone I love is going to die. I also feel extremely depressed as i think that they will get presumed dead and gets buried alive. Its killing me inside. I watch your vids to make me happy when i feel down and I just want to thank you for being you.

When I try to meditate,I start to feel that my belly gets overloaded with air,and when I exhale through nostrils it's quite heavy and loud. What sensations do u expect to feel and what is the experience it should be like during mindfulness meditation? When I try to meditate,my experience isn't like yours.Does that mean i'm meditating wrong?By the way,do u recommend people to meditate everyday that struggle from stress and nervousness or their is other solutions that will give same impact as meditation. Please respond,Scott.
