Healing Your Inner Child | Guided Meditation

This guided meditation provides the opportunity
to meet and nurture your inner child. It is an ongoing healing process that will
help you begin to release negative thought patterns and behaviours. You will begin to replace them with healthier
ones that instil peace, love, truth and happiness into your life. During the meditation, notice your reactions
to certain triggers, so that you can improve changes to these reactions. As you continue to use this meditation, you
will develop a compassionate bond with your inner child. This bond will help you love your inner child
unconditionally. All progress will allow you to fully come
to know and accept love. You will allow yourself to trust. You will let people in. You will learn to be good to yourself. You will understand who you really are and
you will make room for your soul path. Before we begin, find a comfortable position
sitting or lying down. Do this exercise in a place where you will
be undisturbed. Take a moment to mentally collect any unwanted
thoughts, any worries, and anything that does not serve what you are about to experience. Imagine placing these thoughts inside of a
box and closing the lid tightly. Put a lock on this box. During our meditation, if these thoughts escape
from the box, simply acknowledge them and send them back. Now, gently close your eyes and take a moment
to allow your body to relax. Release the tension in each area of your body. Take a deep breath in to the count of 4. Feel the breath as it moves into your body
and fills your lungs. Now exhale to the count of 4. Feel the breath as it moves out, releasing
any anxiety. Take another deeper breath in to the count
of 4. Be mindful of any physical pain in your body. See this breath releasing physical pain as
you exhale to the count of 4. Follow the sound of your breathing as you
start at the top of your head and work your way down your body. Relax your forehead. Relax the muscles in your face. Relax your mouth. Take another deep breath in to the count of
4. Each time you inhale, your breath brings with
it a deeper sense of relaxation. Now exhale, releasing anything that doesn’t
serve you. Follow the sound of your breathing. Relax your neck and shoulders. Your hands and fingers. Feel your muscles slowly melting. Take another deep breath in to the count of
4 and exhale to the count of 4. You start to relax even deeper. Relax your legs. Your feet. Your toes. Continue to follow the sound of your breath. Before we meet with our inner child, let us
call on Archangel Haniel who will help with our emotions and trusting our inner guidance. Archangel Haniel,
Thank you for guiding my path to healing the inner child and honouring myself and my feelings
throughout the process. See the pale blue color of her energy as it
touches the crown of your head and feel it surround your body. Feel its warmth. This light surrounds you with peace, courage
and guidance. You are safe. You are protected. Now imagine yourself in a place of serenity. A mountaintop of stillness and quiet. A deserted beach with softly crashing waves. It can be a favourite room in your home. It can be anywhere that you feel safe and
comfortable. Take a deep breath in to the count of 4. Now exhale to the count of 4. With your mind’s eye, see that the inner child
has appeared in front of you. Remember what it felt like to be that child. How old is this child? Notice the emotion on the child’92s face. Does the child look lonely? Afraid? What emotions does the child make you feel? If you begin to feel nervous or anxious, remember
that you are safe. You are protected. You can feel that your inner child needs to
be loved. To be accepted. They need to feel protected. Nourished. Supported. Your inner child is very innocent. They need to hear gentle words. They need to feel affection and kindness. Take your inner child by the hands. They look at you with hope. They need you to forgive yourself for all
negative things you have said in your heart. Let us do that now. Take in a deep breath of forgiveness. Exhale and release the negative way you see
yourself. Say to your inner child: It is ok to feel
abandoned. It is ok to want things to be different. It is ok to feel lonely. I am sorry for shunning you. I am sorry for not always listening. I see you. I hear you. You are loved. What else do you need to say? Say it now. In this moment, you are the parent to your
inner child. What can you do to nurture this child? You will need to recall the past and tend
to the pain. Ask your inner child to bring before you a
specific situation or general unhappy memories. Ask your inner child to identify what they
struggle with. Identify what is holding you both back. What trauma did you experience growing up? Were you abused or neglected? Your inner child is holding onto all of this. Trust that you can face these memories. You can face the pain. First, you must see it and feel it. Trust that you have nothing to fear. Take another deep breath and exhale. You are now ready to embrace the experiences
that are buried within you. Your inner child holds a large oval mirror
in front of you. Look deep inside this mirror and really see
what they are showing you. Pay attention to every detail. Acknowledge what happened. Allow yourself to feel exactly how you felt
at that time. Allow yourself to grieve for your inner child. Grieve for yourself. Release negative emotional energy. Take away the power from your childhood wounds. Feel compassion for yourself and for your
inner child. In doing so, you honour yourself. Know that it is ok to feel angry. It is your right to feel angry. It is your right to feel hurt. Know that it is ok to cry. Know that you did not choose this. I will now step back so that your healing
process can begin. Do this at your own pace. After you’ve gotten what you need from this
experience, take a moment to sit with your feelings. Let us continue healing with a breathing exercise
that will balance your heart chakra and raise your vibration. Chakra wheels spin fast and smoothly when
balanced, and the heart chakra radiates a with bright, beautiful green color of light. Let’s begin with this heart chakra affirmation
(out loud or silently) I give and receive unconditional love and
compassion for my own well-being and for others.Now sit with your inner child and together you
will take a deep breath in. See this green light of healing energy moving
into your body. Breathe
out what you need to let go of. Continue with a few more healing breaths and
exhales of release. (Be mindful of the positive things you want
to breathe in and what you want to release. Breathe in forgiveness, love and compassion. Breathe in happiness. Breathe in trust. Breathe
out and release distrust and challenging relationships. Release fear, loneliness and sadness. Release judgement of yourself. Release the burdens you carry. See them floating above and away from the
chakra’s spinning wheel and fading into swirls of black smoke.) If you can, do this exercise until you feel
the weight physically lift from your mind, body and soul. See the green wheel spinning faster each time
you release and let go. You notice that it is spinning in sync with
the wheel of your inner child. Feel empowered knowing that you have made
progress. Your inner child now smiles at you. Can you feel the healing that has begun? Can you feel stitches repairing old wounds? Give your inner child a strong, loving hug. Wrap your arms around them in safety and say:
‘I will be gentle with my words to myself. I will be kind to myself. I will remember to laugh. I will find the child-like joy inside of me. I will hold onto that joy for as long as I
can each time.’ Repeat these following healing affirmations
(silently or out loud). It is my birth right to be happy, successful
and loved. I am worthy. My inner child is happy and beginning to heal. I love myself and am attract loving relationships
into my life. Every day I release all negative thoughts
and experiences from my childhood. Know that you can always return here, where
you feel comfortable and safe. Your inner child will be here waiting. Do this meditation as long as you need, as
many times needed. Your journey has been long. Your journey has been emotional. Allow yourself to sleep peacefully, if you
feel the need. Allow yourself to rest your body as needed. If you are ready to bring yourself to the
present moment, start by taking a deep breath in to the count of 4. Feel the breath as it moves into your body
and fills your lungs. Now exhale to the count of 4. Feel the breath as it moves out. Do this a few more times, or as needed, while
slowly bringing energy back into your body through movement. Begin by moving your toes slightly. Continue with other small movements in your
feet and your legs. Move your arms. Your hands. Fingers. Allow your small movements to grow into larger
movements. Slowly open your eyes again when ready. Once you feel fully energized and revitalized,
sit for a moment in silence and recall the journey you just experienced.

    Thank you. This would have to have been the most amazing, powerful, healing meditation I have ever done in my life. Oh my goodness thank you for creating this beautiful gift of healing, I will be using this regularly. It's just so so beautiful. I usually am able to write lots of words but for once there just aren't enough. Just know I am filled with so much gratitude for this. A great great blessing, thank you.     Hi beautiful Rasa, thank you from deep down inside for this meditation. It is going to help me so much. I feel that your meditations have been customised for me. It has taken me so long to find this. Plus your voice and healing spirit resonates with me so much. I have one question. I just downloaded a meditation phone application called 'insight timer' because I thought you were on it. I can only find one of your meditations – spirit guide. Is this correct? If not, could you tell me how to search for you? or are you on any other meditation applications? thank you & namaste kind soul xx

    Thank you, dear Rasa, for your meditations and love! Some weeks ago I tried one of your healing meditations and since that time I have experienced amazing changes in my life. I feel stronger and happier, I know how to help myself in the evening after an exhausting day. I mediate with you at least 4 times a week, and it is really a beautiful experience. Today I tried this meditation for the first time, and what I noticed, that my inner child was smiling in the end, but not me… I was crying till the very end of the meditation. But still I feel relief…

    This was so powerful!!! So effective. I sat my younger self between my knees and brushed her hair. She's a chatter box and wanted to talk with me a bit. I let her speak and then I grabbed her little face and let her know how much I love her. How proud I am of her strength. This was so helping for me. Thank you so much Rasa!!! I know I will do this technique again and again. There are layers of healing available to us with this technique!! Thank you thank you thank.     Thank you Rasa, This is my very first meditation. At first, I cried a lot and eventually I felt a lot of joys and in the end I cried and laughed simultaneously. It was indescribable feeling that I have ever felt. Thank you very much for this journey in my life. Big Love.

    I cannot beleive what a journey I have just expereicned. The frogotten remote past I never revisited showed up and I could found all my wound hidden in unknown place but still haunting me and forming my behavior now.I have found some questions remained unaswers for so long time.It has flushed out toxic feeling out by bringing it up. I am grateful for this meditation.

    It's like you wrote this for me. Expected airyfairy happy child, was about to turn off as my childhood wasn't. But thank you. It's helped immensely. But oh my. Later in the meditation, I saw my inner child smiling. The next sentence you said was that the inner child is smiling. Bang on. I cried and have never cried during a meditation. So many many thanks.

    I did this meditation last night and after the meditation, I could not sleep @ all. A lot of painful memories purging.
    I cried as well. Woke up this morning after struggling to sleep and i feel soooo much better. I will do this for the next 60 days and will come back for updates.

    I've literally just cried my eyes out. This is by far the most powerful healing meditation I have ever come across. It broke my heart to see him (me) looking so sad and lonely and looking at me with distrust at first, but this will be the start of the healing process.     I did this meditation yesterday. And today, when I woke up, my childhood friend had sent a picture of something that was precious to us way back in 1998! Then, my sister called! Thank You! I cannot express how grateful I am.

    You’re an amazing healer. Just wanted to say at end of meditation I saw a dog expelling vomit from his mouth then I felt a great healing of my heart chakra. The vomit was a murky green color.     Words truly do not express my gratitude and I will use this meditation and others like this until I feel all of the weight become released from my heart. I saw her smile; I saw her beautiful face full of light and radiant energy. I could see the untainted little girl still there in her eyes. I couldn't help but breakdown and cry deeply. Her smile and vibrancy was stolen away and replaced with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, fear, hatred, apathy, anger, self-loathing, worthlessness, confusion…she was always in pain for so long…and I refused for years to let her think those things were okay. I shut her out and pretended like she didn't exist. I truly felt like she was with me as her own seperate spirit and we became one today. I could feel her let go and she knew that what I was saying was the truth. I could feel her forgiveness–my forgiveness–rise up to the surface and make me cry not with sadness but with joy this time. I still have so much healing to do but I know this was the beginning of a long and beautiful journey. I love you and thank you for your healing. Thank you for providing this for those of us who have next to nothing to give financially but one day hope to be able to give endlessly.

    I woke up at 5:30 AM and listened to this meditation, it was one of the most ethereal experiences I've ever had during a meditation. I saw my younger self in a sketchbook type of world just immersed in her paintings and drawings, surrounded by her creativity and untainted perspective of the world. As I held her hand she smiled so brightly I felt like I was accepting a part of myself that I had ignored for so long. Thank you.

    Thank you for this. I grew up in a narcissistic abusive household and I’ve been thru it all since the age of 3 witnessing my father beating my sisters because my mom told him to because they were being “bad”. And me being that young seeing it all and it kept happening until I was 18 and I thought this was normal. Went to school as a little girl didn’t speak because I was afraid too, then I developed stuttering problems and teachers thought I had a problem and so yeah. I always knew it was toxic and abusive but I thought this was just my life. I’m 24 now and this has been the year where I realized oh shit they are really toxic and draining and they’ll never change and I GOTTA MOVE OUT ASAP and get my life together so I can be my best self and heal and follow my dreams because living with my mom still is a trigger especially because she is a narc and everybody in my family is toxic. So basically I’ve learned not to trust nobody to the point I have no friends and some days I feel like killing myself.. this was helpful. I cried. But I’m done living like this. Just holding on.

    I did this meditation when I was really not feeling well. When I met my inner child I felt so emotional as I told her how much I miss her. I touched her beautiful heavy black hair and her hands. I really do miss her and I feel like she’s gone through a lot and she just smiled even though she was hurt. I hugged her and told her that I’ll take care of her and I hope she forgets all she’s gone through

    I felt strong, uncomfortable feelings throughout the meditation. I feel a lot of shame toward my inner child. I loved this guided meditation, it's okay to be uncomfortable. I don't want to stop trying to heal between my inner child and me. I hope this discomfort passes as I look for ways to spend quality time with myself

    That was so powerful.. as I cried for my inner child , my abuser came to mind and for the FIRST time ever , I felt angry and told him he had no right to violate me and take away my innocence . Until I did this meditation, I had always down play the abuse and accepted it as just ‘ something ‘ that happened in my childhood . I guess I have always held myself responsible somewhat for what happened . To be able to hold HIM and only him responsible now and rid my feelings of shame is very liberating .
    A recent break up lead me to the Realization that I had a lot of childhood abandonment / rejection issues that Were never dealt with properly . I have always felt much pain in my heart but never really knew why .. This meditation was just what I needed to begin my healing journey. Thank you Rasa.

    So I cried I cried like a baby kept saying I'm so sorry I'm so sorry I love you were better now I never cry with meditations but I cried so much out loud during the mirror part and the shunning away my inner child were you abused neglected part and cried out loud everything thank you

    I just found this meditation today and… I couldn’t be more grateful and purely astounded. My inner child showed me a memory that is blocked out and couldn’t believe I’d almost forgotten or been avoiding for so long. This was powerful, emotional and I’m going to stick with it. I am going to nourish my inner child. Thank you so much for this meditation. I didn’t know such a release could be so powerful.

    This was so beautiful. Me and my inner child sat with each other in a beautiful, peaceful, serene place. She looked so happy and pure. I told her I loved her and would always protect her. I told her about how much I have learned and said sorry for being so mean to myself in the past. We talked about my mom and how she hurt us and made us feel unloved. I explained how mental illness can do that and how she never was loved properly so how could she do that for us. We forgave her and danced. During the chakra wheel spinning, we held hands and sat across from each other. She ended up molding into me. She was like my child I loved her so much and how badly I wanted her to understand that I loved her and would always protect her.
